At the Fall Lecture,
Dennis Fagan, Photographer, Director and Writer,
will show photos of Lady Bird and discuss their relationship and how it developed.
Perhaps like no other first lady in American history, Lady Bird Johnson filled the 38 years of her post White House years with a passion for ecological reform. Her intentions involved changing the outlook of Texans and Americans to return to the natural beauty that we all came from.
Dennis Fagan inherited the position of principal photographer for efforts outdoors and stuck with it for about 20 years; most of that as a volunteer. Many stories remain and he will share those as well as take any questions from the audience who may have curiosity about this inspiring woman and her pursuits on behalf of a more natural eco-system.
