Featuring Guest Speaker W.F. Strong, Texas Storyteller
For the past seven years Dr. Strong has been the Texas History and Culture Commentator for the Texas Standard Radio Network on NPR. He has published two books on Texas – Stories from Texas: Some of them are True – and it’s sequel – Stories from Texas Volume II. He is a Fulbright Scholar and Professor of Communication and Culture at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Dr. Strong was raised in Texas and holds degrees in Communication and Literature from Abilene Christian University and Communication and Oral Literature from The University of North Texas. His PhD is in Communication and Rhetoric from The University of Arizona.
